	The main focus of my Middle East news review this month is once again Iran, where evidence is mounting that deadly nuclear weapons are either already in production or in the final stages of development. I also look at the deteriorating situation in Israel’s northern neighbor, Syria, where an anti-government revolt is rapidly becoming a full-blown civil war, and the triumph of militant Islamic political parties in Israel’s neighbor to the southwest, Egypt.
