Here is my personal tribute to the remarkable country I call home, Israel, born 60 years ago this evening. It was published today on the World Net Daily web site. I hope you enjoy it. My monthly news report will be sent to you the last week of this month, focusing on the prospect that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will be soon forced out of office due to criminal suspicions against him, ongoing Palestinian rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip, and the violent and ominous Hizbullah takeover of increasing portions of Lebanon.

APRIL 2008 ISRAEL NEWS REVIEW |

CLICK for this month’s Israel news review and analysis report, sadly featuring fresh violence in and around the Gaza Strip amid mounting evidence that Israeli military forces will soon be sent into action to uproot the mushrooming Hamas militia from the small coastal zone. Most Israeli security analysts say they expect such a conflict—which all agree will be very difficult and probably take many lives—to begin before the end of summer. Much talked about prospects for war with Hizbullah, Syria and possibly even Iran are also examined in this month's report. Meanwhile the country is due to be visited by many international dignitaries to help Israelis celebrate their sixtieth anniversary as a modern state. I am privileged to say that I have lived in this special land for nearly half of that time. My six page feature overview article on Israel’s remarkable history will be included in the special May issue of the Jerusalem Post Christian Edition.
